The Same Number
Independent campaign concept. Proposed Carlow pilot; not launched.
You don't have to be the one giving.
People who have always given can find themselves needing help. The Same Number is a proposed campaign for SVP in Carlow that makes room for both. One local number would welcome requests for help and offers of support with the same greeting. Two trained volunteers could arrange a confidential visit. Outside a participating parish hall, a board would publish both kinds of answered call together, with small counts held for privacy. The fundraising envelope would begin by asking: ‘Before you give, do you need help?’ Across outdoor, film, social and radio, one invitation connects the work: ‘You don’t have to be the one giving.’

The proposed parish-hall board would publish answered calls asking for help and offering support together. These are illustrative counts, not people, money or needs met.

When either count is too small to share, both would be held together. The board would explain the reporting period.

The fundraising envelope would begin with a question: “Before you give, do you need help?”

The shelter execution makes the invitation practical: two local volunteers can call to the house.
Films use AI-generated still imagery and synthetic guide voices; radio is a synthetic timing proof. The telephone number is a non-dialable placeholder and board figures are illustrative.
Two calls. The same greeting. Equal attention. A still-frame concept edit with synthetic guide voice and designed sound.
